3C MaxxGrip
The well-known good 3C downhill mixture combination that many of the best downhillers have trusted for years. 3C MaxxGrip offers the ultimate grip and the best damping properties for incomparable traction during downhills.
At Maxxis, the 3C tread is formed from 3 different rubber compounds in one piece and not subsequently assembled from two strips. Therefore, the treads can be shaped exactly according to the requirements of the respective tire model and the driving characteristics can be optimized.

TR Tubeless Ready
tires have many advantages: you can drive with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling
resistance. And where there is no hose, the breakdown risk also decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for
installation with sealant than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of the Maxxis TR tire is completely covered with a
rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. As a result, tubeless fitting on all rims with standard dimensions is already
successful on initial inflation and with little fluid.

Dual Ply DH Casing
With Maxxis downhill tires, two fabric layers are combined and wrapped around the bead cores. The finished carcass then has four layers on the side walls and six layers under the tread.
