Probably the most used and in recent years most successful downhill tire in the world. The Minion DHF combines proven elements such as beveled lugs for low rolling resistance and great smoothness with longitudinally slotted lugs for grippier edges. This gives it excellent directional stability and precise cornering. The new puncture protection makes the tire even more durable.

At Maxxis, the 3C tread is made from 3 different rubber compounds and is not made up of two strips. Therefore, the treads can be formed exactly according to the requirements of the respective tire model and thus the driving characteristics are optimized.
The freeride version of Maxxis 3C compounds. More grip and traction than the 3C MaxxSpeed ‹‹compound, with less rolling resistance and longer durability than 3C MaxxGrip. The ideal enduro and freeride blend because it combines good rolling resistance uphill with great grip on the descent.
EXO Protection:
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various Maxxis MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, light and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.
Tubeless Ready Tubeless
tires have many advantages: you can drive with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no hose, the breakdown risk also decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for installation with sealant than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of the Maxxis TR tire is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. As a result, tubeless fitting on all rims with standard dimensions is already successful on initial inflation and with little fluid.
Wide Trail (WT)
This design optimizes the profile layout and tire shape on today's wider wheel rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrower rims and get on square wheels too angular shape and thus a not exactly optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work perfectly on all rims with an internal dimension of 30 - 40 mm. Applies to tires with a width from 2.4 ".
