Shimano BR RS785 Ice Tech Hydraulic Disc Brake Caliper. 
In contrast to the brake caliper BR-R785, the Shimano developers have once again optimized the cable routing on the revised brake caliper BR-RS785. Instead of the banjo connection on the inside as before, the brake line is now attached to the outside of the caliper with a straight connection.

Shimano also equips Shimano's hydraulic road disc brakes with Ice-Tech technology, which optimizes heat dissipation and ensures consistent braking performance. The brake discs have a three-layer sandwich structure in which an aluminum core is surrounded by two stainless steel layers. With this technology, the temperature can be lowered by about 100 degrees. The FREEZA SM-RT99 brake discs are mainly used in the racing bike sector in two sizes: as standard disc with 140 mm diameter and optionally with 160 mm diameter, if more braking power is required.

One-way venting

Ice-Tech

Shimano has introduced brake discs and brake pads with Ice-Tech technology to provide cooling technology for consistently high braking performance.
